The Carers Information Service provides free and confidential information, advice and support to anyone looking after a relative, friend or neighbour who could not manage without their support due to illness, frailty, disability, mental health concern or addiction. We produce and distribute information for carers including factsheets and a quarterly newsletter and organise regular events throughout the year. Our team of carers outreach workers can work with carers 1:1 offering support to help them better manage the impact of their caring role. The service is available throughout Carmarthenshire and is hosted by Crossroads Sir Gar, a network member of Carers Trust.

As well as our services for adult carers we have a Young Adult Carers Development Worker can provide 1:1 support and signposting to young people aged 14-25 years who have caring responsibilities.
